 thanks and a question

Hello av8r,
First, I loved the picture of you and Hillary. Next, a personnel Thank you from a 4-f who never got tthe chance to serve my country. God Bless You and all your comrades. No matter what you may see or hear in the media or the politics of the day, real Americans thank you all and support you. thanks again.
On a 'business note, I noticed the modified 3 point hitch draw bar in Picture 5. I think I could use smething like that from timne to time. Did you weld up the vertical stablizers yourself or is those parts "store bought".
Burt

Burt: I wish I could claim to be the HERO in the photo but, alas, I am not. The photo came to me in an E-mail from a friend who is currently serving. Much to my shame I never served our country in this manner (was talked out of being an Army Warrant Officer helicopter pilot by dear 'ol Mom). Sorry.

The draw bar is in fact a $10 Fleet Farm unit with some home made vertical and top pieces welded on. I work as a machinist and do alot of C-NH parts and the steel was some left over scrap that I welded together. Works good tho!!

Hey Av8er,
the tires look fine to me. We Northener's see a lot of the real turf tires, I heard that down South they sell Ag tires and call them TURF (whuch down there means: Tears Up Real Fine.) Smile

Hey! Play nice now. Tough to wear off the "New Nubbs" in the frozen tundra. I got to snap a couple pic in the grass then it started to snow right away! Only 16 hrs of snowmoving on it so gimme a chance, huh?

I am surprised that I don't see seights & chains for the snowblowing chores or did you just not have time to get a pix of the tractor with the chains on. We sure didn't have any timely breaks from moving snow here 20 miles north of Syracuse, NY. I still have 3 feet of compacted snow in the front yard and 5 more inches forecasted for the next 24 hours. Oh well, I'll enjoy spring that much more whenever it arrives. Smile

Weights and chains aren't needed. Does a great job without, just have to remember to engage 4WD.
